We’ve made a bunch of enhancements and improvements and some bug fixes that’ll hopefully save you some headaches. Enjoy the updates!

New Features

  • POS terminals now display customizable tip suggestions on the tip adjust screen, enabled by default.
  • Users can rename the card button label on Dual Pricing-enabled POS home screens.
  • POS terminals now generate Level 2 (L2) descriptors, including invoice details, for every sale and completion.
  • Merchants can set an “Auto Shutdown” duration to save battery life by automatically powering off devices.
  • Virtual Terminal now supports Dual Pricing mode with three distinct configurations and a validate fee option.

New Enhancements

  • Valor Connect is now supported on VP500 terminals, enabling real-time cloud-based payment integration.
  • Terminals can now reboot at user-selected intervals with the new “Auto Heartbeat Time” parameter.
  • Terminals now display suggested tips alongside the total amount for enhanced clarity and transparency.
  • Merchants can now create new clerk or server IDs directly from the confirmation screen during sales.
  • VL500 and VP500 terminals now display a customizable list of card brands on the card prompt screen.
  • The Valor Portal settlement report now includes a QR code for easy access on Android, iOS, and email platforms.
  • Company name can now be configured as mandatory or optional for Virtual Terminal transactions, E-invoices, and receipts.
  • Transaction reports now include line items as comma-separated values in the last column for better insights.
  • Refunds and partial voids are now supported for both non-settled and settled transactions, enhancing flexibility.
