We’ve made a bunch of enhancements and improvements and some bug fixes that’ll hopefully save you some headaches. Enjoy the updates!

POS

  • Syncing Products & Inventory: This enhancement adds stock validation for line items in the Valor Menu and Inventory during transactions initiated through Valor Connect.  
  • Disclaimer in the On-screen Signature: This enhancement allows the On-screen signature prompt to include a disclaimer stating the purpose of the signature. 
  • SDK Enhancement – Bin Function Call: This enhancement provides BIN lookup functionality that uses the provided card details to identify the card type and returns it in the response. 
  • Enhancement to the Tip screen: This enhancement allows transactions to proceed immediately when the No TIP option is selected on the TIP screen across all devices. 
  • Newland device – Daily security reboot: This enhancement incorporates the reboot function within the heartbeat feature, utilizing the configured heartbeat interval in the Valor system. 
  • Debit amount in PIN Pad device: For Dual pricing and BIN based surcharge profiles, Newland PIN pad device displays the correct transaction amount when a DEBIT card is used. 
  • Cash Savings on Receipts: This enhancement ensures that the devices display only the differential cost as the cash saving amount on the receipts. 
  • VP550C reconnection to PIN Pad device: This enhancement ensures that the VP550C device’s PIN pad is reinitialized for each new transaction, including after the device restarts. 

TMS

  • Enhancement to PayNow Link: This enhancement fixes an issue with PayNow links by ensuring they expire after 10 consecutive payment failures. 
  • S3 Bucket reports: This change ensures that the new columns recently added to the reports are consistently available to merchants in their S3 buckets under all conditions caused by high load. 

Portal

  • Configuring Valor Shield RT to EPIs: This enhancement enables ISOs and merchants to configure rules at the EPI level within the Valor Shield RT module. 
  • Recurring payments – SMS Receipts: This enhancement resolves the issue with the callback number by ensuring that the merchant store’s phone number is used, even when the transaction is initiated from an operator’s account. 

Switch

  • Worldpay Validate and Save: This enhancement introduces the Validate and Save feature for the Worldpay processor.
